Shawnee Smith is an American actress, singer and musician. Smith was born on July 3, 1970, and stands at 5'3". Smith's most notable roles are in the roles of Amanda Young and Linda on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was once a member of the metal band Fydolla Ho with which she toured across the United States and the United Kingdom as well as being a member of Smith & Pyle a desert country-rock band with actor Missi Pyle. Her parents are Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an ex-US Air Force pilot, medical oncology and financial planner. The family relocated from South Carolina to Van Nuys California in the year she turned a year old her parents split at age two. her mother remarried at the age of eight. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Primary School in Panorama City Los Angeles as and Madison Jr. High, located in North Hollywood. Then attended North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood California and graduated in 1987. In the present, Rachel is doing a spring/summer 2023 live show tour with her band Death Let Me Do My Special. The Rachel's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Tour sold out Radio City Music Hall as part of a multi-show tour in 2019. That same year, she also performed in her own tour called What Am I going to do with my life now. It included a one-week residency at Just For Laughs.
