Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26, 1976, from Falmouth Jamaica. He is one of the wealthiest and well-known Reggae Singers. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, like Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) as well as the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. Each of them contributed to Ky's growing popularity among the new generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell of Fugees to record Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley was first seen on stage in Miami at Midem. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live on the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bidding war. In 1997, he signed with Gee Street/V2 Record. There he finished a collaboration with P.M. Daw
